You've come to the Joy MCC Prayer and Meditation Page. We hope you will stay awhile and meditate on God's word and pray for God's people.

Ongoing Prayers~~

We are grateful for the long history of Joy MCC. We pray for the leaders of this church, Rev. John, Rev. Carol, the Board of Directors, and all people leading ministry teams.

We pray also for those seeking a way to serve God at Joy MCC and know that God will direct you into a place reserved for you. Each week we give thanks for all those who visited Joy MCC for the first time this week.

We pray for the leaders of UFMMC, especially Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, Moderator, and Rev. Elder Lille Brock, our Regional Elder. We pray for the ministries all over the world of MCC, especially for those working in countries where it is most dangerous to be working for social justice for LGBT and other disenfranchised peoples. We pray for all the leaders of MCC as they meet to discuss and develop the structure of the denomination.

Prayers of Thanksgiving and Praise


Thanksgiving for God’s many blessings; thank you Jesus for hearing my prayers! Glory to God for a job found; thanks to God for deliverance from a time of need; Prayers of Gratitude; Thanksgiving for 31 years of Joy MCC, Thanks for all those who visited Joy MCC for the first time this week, blessings for each of them; For safe return to Texas of Chaz; prayers of thanksgiving for Ruby’s mother’s recovery, thank You for all Your blessings, my precious children and work family, for Glen, Edwenna
